Escape The Carnival of Terror Obby is the same classic obby on phone and tablet as on PC. PlatinumFalls did not ship a separate mobile map. You still spawn at the clown-mouth gate, talk to Jim if you want, then jump about 24 checkpoints with mild jumpscares. Servers still hold 10 players. Progress still resets if you leave. The difference is the input surface: a thumbstick, an on-screen jump, and a camera you drag with a finger instead of a mouse.

This page is the phone sitting. Pair it with Controls for the full bind list and with getting started for the reset rule. When the plaza music drops, leave this page and open Beat the Clown — the chase is the room that punishes a low camera and a covered jump button.

Layout the thumbs before the turnstile

1. Move on the left stick. Keep it small. Wide stick throws you off lava rails.
2. Jump must stay visible. If a shop or chat bubble covers it, close the UI before the boiler.
3. Camera is a right-side drag. Practice a slow upward tilt at spawn so you can see fire jets and clown hands before you commit.
4. Turn shift lock on in the Roblox menu if your client offers it. On thin Fun House beams it is the closest thing to PC lock. If your build has no lock, keep drag corrections tiny.
5. Drop graphics to a stable framerate. Chase timing dies when the evil clown stutters.

Voice chat and camera capture are not supported on this place. Do not hunt a push-to-talk bind. Callouts happen in text chat or in a Discord you opened yourself. Official store and badge text still live on the Roblox app; this wiki is not the client.

Rooms that feel worse on a phone

Lava rails (checkpoints 1–2). Depth is harder on a small screen. Tilt the camera slightly down the track so gaps read as gaps, not as texture. Do not sprint the stick to 100% on the first sitting.

Boiler fire and wall hands (3–9). Wait a cycle, then move. A thumb that holds forward through a jet is a death. If a hand covers the jump button, you already lost. Reposition UI, then retry.

Plaza chase (10–11). This is the mobile filter. Cut wide left or right toward the Ferris. Do not two-finger rotate to look at the knife. Looking is how the camera dies. Board a cabin; do not duel. Details stay on Beat the Clown.

Doom Drop and volcano pads. Side-on camera helps more than a first-person panic zoom. Speed pads throw a stick-sprint into empty air. Tap forward, do not pin it.

Fun House. Mirrors and vanishing pads want a high camera. The funhouse guide is the room list. On mobile, stop walking when you rotate. Walking while rotating is how people step off a fake corridor.

Performance and session length

Average playtime on the place sits near nine minutes because many players quit at the chase. A careful first clear is still 15–25 minutes. On cellular data, a disconnect is a full restart. Stay in one sitting. The checkpoint map is a memory aid, not a cloud save.

If the phone overheats, lower graphics before you blame the course. The legal line on the walkthrough does not change because you are on iOS or Android. Coils and VIP from the gamepass list feel stronger on touch because they hide timing errors. They still do not save checkpoints after you close the app.

Friends, gear, and what not to install

Friends can join the same 10-player server from mobile. They can stand at the Ferris and type a cabin color. They cannot carry your avatar through a legit clear unless you sit in a Mini Helicopter passenger seat, which is a skip, not a mobile feature. Grief tools (zombify, vacuum) hit phones the same as PCs. See multiplayer for server manners.

Executor scripts on a phone are a separate risk. This wiki will not pretend a keyless APK is a strategy. Keep that conversation on the scripts hub with the ban warning attached.

A no-death phone clear is possible. Several public videos show the full carnival without a retry, including short 4K runs you can watch on the same device. Watch once for camera height, then put the phone in landscape and run the line. Landscape is not required, but it gives the Ferris cabins more pixels.
